Money, money, money rules the lives of entrepreneurs and business minded people such as myself. It’s always nice to remember the more important things in life, however. Yes, there are more important things than power, money, recognition, etc. One example is Ruth Parasol. Ruth Parasol is a charitable classy lady who made her money and then turned to support those things more important in life.

Starting in the beginning, Ruth Parasol became a billionaire entrepreneur from California through her development of [ironically] PartyPoker gaming company, which is publically traded company on the London exchanges.

Now, however, Ruth focuses a lot on her involvement in the philanthropic Bonita Trust, which is a trust that gives endowments to all areas of the Gibraltar community. Education, cultural, health, and community projects all benefit greatly directly from the work of Ruth Parasol.

Currently she resides in Gibraltar with her business partner/husband and family.  Regardless of the controversy surrounding her industry, Ruth should be respected for her philanthropic deeds and commitment to giving back.
